ABOUT OUR CLUB

Skelmersdale Boundary Harriers was formed in 1983 to support those who wish to train, race and run for fun on and off road. We are a friendly club with around 100 members. Our club colours are amber & black.

We have a number of coaches, qualified to either Coaching in Running Fitness (CiRF) or Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF), who hold weekly structured training sessions and our membership ratio of ladies to men is about 49:51.

There are further details about the club elsewhere on this site, but the best way to find out about our club is to come along and give us a ‘no commitment’ try. If you do then the chances are that you will come back because not only do we support and encourage everyone, whether experienced or new to running but we are a very friendly and social club as well. Our club nights are suitable for most standards of runner with groups ranging from sub6 minutes a mile to 12 minutes plus.

Club Member of the Month

Whilst relatively new to the club, Jim has been an example of what embodies a Harrier, getting involved with everything. But its his motivation that has shone brightest this month, his motivation to overcome adversity whilst supporting other runners to push themselves is a skillset that can never be underestimated within a club
